| Not to mention that SpamAssassin uses the same method for advertising that they supposedly are trying to stop. But then again, many so called "spam fighting programs" nowadays are also themselves spamming. | ||

| I use Spamassassin, it is not great. It uses a long list of hardcoded rules and assignes a score to each one. The rules vary greatly in technique, but the scores appear to be assigned using some kind of statistical research. If the total spam score is above a threshold you can take some action, the default action is to put {Spam?} into the subject line so the user can use client side filtering or whatever. | ||
